This product, while I can't fault it's description and, looking back, cannot see a photo of the product used on a bobbin as its name suggests is a lot larger than anticipated. The clamps are far too big for bobbins and as a result, I don't find them helpful as they don't stay on nicely. They would work on thread spools, but not bobbins.
